Do you think that when your age reach 30, life is seems all downhill? I am not sure what others did think about reaching the age of 30. Mine is smooth and I don't mind growing as old as that. I did not even think I am as old what my friends are thinking they are. My physical health does not determine my real age. :) For me biologic age is fairly meaningless as long as you are living in a healthy manner.

On the contrary, at the age of 30, it is all "Uphill". One is on the way to making progress in life and finding the best ways of spending the life-time. I recall someone asking if it is too late to study for a Ph.D. after 30, and I was telling him that it is never too late to persue further education, and gaining knowledge about things in life.

Why would being 30 be at downhill? At that age, you are just beginning to establish yourself. Life is at its prime by that time. It's generally the time to get married with your bf which i did at that age. Sharing a life with somebody else at that age is just the beginning of a new beautiful stage of your life. For every stage of our life , we should appreciate it specially if you have someone to share it with and has children of your own. Every stage is a new experience. Love life as it rolls. . .

I think it's 50 only because I see it from job point of view most people don't hire a 50 yo anymore but job aside, I don't see any reason why life is downhill beyond certain age especially if you start a business now you won't need a job at 50, the business itself will be a job

I am just beginning to explore my life at 30. Now at 30 I plan to have a smooth career although it is just seem hopeless as there are too many candidates out there but I don't care. I believe that the older you gets , the wiser you are! So don't lose hope and think that's all downhill when 30. Something better starts at 30. And also I am recovering from depression that bugs me for 10 years. 10 years wasted before and I am not gonna waste my left over years with hopeless thoughts anymore... :)

HELLO BLUERAIN25! i totally agree with you that biological age is not that important as long as you are living in a healthy manner. I am already 37 and i think when i reached 30 life had been getting better for me, not downhill, in all aspects. Maybe i'm just a late bloomer and all but then, i just don't look my age and is pretty healthy to boot. I do engage in some late night trysts but it's infrequent and depends on the importance of the occasion really. I think that reaching 40s will be just as fun. it actually does not depend on age but on how you cope up with aging gracefully.

Hi bluerain25, Growing is a natural process. When we were little children we always want to grow up and be big like dad and other elders, when we really grow up we do not want to grow old. We like to be young forever if nature permits us. This is how in general people think, but I do not see anything downhill when day by day and year by year is passing. I am 36 now that means I younger to people who are around 40 and after 10 years I will be 46 even then I am younger to people who are 50. So it is all in the mind how we perceive the things. I have to do lot more things and I feel young enough to reach my goal as you do. When once your mind starts behaving like older person though you are young it does not matter. As you rightly said biological clock is fairly meaningless. A person need to be healthy physically and mentally and should be living in a healthy way with healthy habits. That is what it counts. I agree to you 100% Happy Living Calpro

I have come to think that age is not only to be counted as a number of yaers since you were born. I wake up every day with a different age. sometimes it is 15, some times it is 80. The birth certificate says 65. Today I´m kind of 80 ish but I hope that after a shower the age will go down a bit. Then, I decided to treat myself to a beauty parlour after lunch to have my hair dyed. I´m sure that will change my inside age a lot too. I hope your reaching the old age of 30 has not been much of a burden to you. There are still things to be done at that ripe ol´age and beyond. I was part of a crew at a small sailboat some friends had two years ago. And last year I took a tour to a lake in my country 4.800 meters above sea level. It was awesome! Take care!

well, I am beyond 30. but I got married at 30, left my parents to my husband's homecity at 30, found a new job at 30. too much for my 30. so I really dont think it is all downhill. actually , it is exciting! friends tell me that I am nothing like more than 30. I would say that is because I am not 30 psychologically. so for me , no matter how old I am , I would be happy as I could.
