Australia is currently suffering great floods in Queensland and further moving south toward Brisbane and so. All traders please post your reviews as to whether the AUD will weaken against the dollar and to what level will it.

I think it might, temporarily, but not by a lot. The euro will go down by much more soon, once Portugal or Spain asks for aid!

I am not a trader but as a general rule currencies weaken if the Economy is effected in a believed to be long lasting negative. If the economy is effected even slightly it will cause a slight dip in the value of the currency compared to other currencies as right now our currency system is based on the economy of the countries and the value of the products. Or should I say the believed value of the currency. Another good thing is look back to when Australia had a major environmental event and see if the currency dropped or not if it did then chances are that it will again. But it most likely won't lose a ton off of it.
