One wants a Nintendo DS (we're waiting for them to go on sale) We just bought her a 4wheeler, but it's hidden. The other is getting a Leapster, and a chopper. (He already has a motorcycle and doesn't need a 4wheeler.

We have raised our children not to beg for a lot of stuff. I have three teenage boys. They know we don't have all the money in the world. We usually try to get them something related to their hobbies or educational, or a family gift. The mania over the newest video games totally sickens me, especially when I hear about people robbing those who waited in line to buy it, and there was even a man who got shot because he wouldn't give his money to the muggers.
