For One More Day

"If you had the chance, just one chance, to go back and fix what you did wrong in life, would you take it? And if you did, would you be big enough to stand it? Ask yourself this: Have you ever lost someone you love and wanted one more conversation, one more chance to make up for the time when you thought they would be here forever? If so, then you know you can go your whole life collecting days, and none will outweigh the one you wish you had back. But what if you got it back?" I was cleaning my room when I stumbled on this book. I've had this a few days after it first came out here in the Philippines. I am a huge fan of Mitch Albom. I like his stories. This book, so far, is the only one that made me cry like a baby. I was so tearful, my eyes and head still hurt hours after reading it. I can't directly relate to the story. But it has deeply affected me. It exemplifies the eternal power of a mother's love. Were you able to read this book? How has it affected you? Or your relationship with your loved one? Your mom in particular. If you haven't read the book yet, I am recommending it to you. Big time. Good day everyone!

i've read the book and i had the same feelings. it's literally a page-turner and i finished the book in 5 hours. by the time i finished reading the entire book, i suddenly thought of the things i did with my mother, from bad to worst things i ever done to her. and then up to this day, i always bear in mind all the things that this wonderful novel has. eventhough fighting is inevitable sometimes, i do not hold on to my anger but instead i try to understand my mom. i realized how important my mom is in my life. an exceptional book by Mitch Albom! very touching and life-changing. see you around!

Well said man! I haven't read this book yet but since now you mentioned this to me i will definitely read this. I love books like this which absolutely touch my heart and more importantly my soul. So far only music had the power to do that and not any books. Cheers!
