What are your opinions on conservation?

I currently work for the California Conservation Corps. We do alot of diffirent things that in an attempt at helping restore damaged or threatend ecosystems. I've done many diffirent things in the CCC and I hope our toils make a diffirence.

I think conservation is a great thing when a damaged or threatened ecosystem can be saved. I think it's equally important to educate the public, though, because without education, conservation is a losing battle. It's much easier to preserve habitats in the first place, rather than try to restore them.

Yeah, education is HUGE, unfortunately alot of people just don't care about what happens outside of their cities. I didn't know much at all about this stuff before I came here. I hope things change.
