Making money on youtube and or the internet

I have seen alot of ppl claim to make alot of money on the net... I have tried alot of money making ideas from ebay to youtube to affiliate marketing. I have done countless of hours researching every idea's. Youtube you can make money if you get into a partnership with google. Done the surveys making the .02 a survey (not too much money there). Is there any other ideas that i may have missed?
