Have you ever cried because your pet died?

For most people, they consider their pets as their family. Some even dress them up, feed them the way children are fed by their parents, and bathe them using the shampoo and conditioner. I find that very cute. Just to share with you guys... the strangest thing that I ever encountered was with my friend, Julia, who mourned for a week because her cat died. To be honest, I had cried before over a pet... but that was just like for a couple of hours. Maybe on her part, she really devoted her time and self to her pet cat since she lived alone. Her sister actually bought her a bird, but Julia set it free a couple of days later. Oh, well... Anyway, I also live alone. And I have two sea turtles with me in an aquarium. They're really cute and I love playing with them. However, I don't want to get so emotionally attached to them because I remembered my friend, Julia. Tsk tsk...

My dog - Clyde - This was taken when he was still young, around 4 or 5 years ago I think.. I miss him. :(
Just a couple of months ago, we lost our beloved dog clyde. He was with the family for more than a decade and he was really considered to be a part of the family already. I cried for a week, just like your friend, and even now, when I remember him, I still get tears in my eyes cause I just miss him so much. We have other dogs now, but clyde is really special and different.

That must be really hurtful. I am very sorry to hear that. Yes, it is true that when a pet is really close to our hearts, we are unable to remove it from our memory because we will always remember that pet as part of the family. :(

Yeah.. It's really sad.. though it shouldn't keep us from getting another pet. I mean, I just love dogs, and I think I would just give the same love that I have given to clyde to my other dogs.

I remember the last time I cried over a pet was when I was like 7 or 8 years old, my dog was already ill when I left for school, when we got home together with my elder, we were surprised to see something already covered by newspaper in the garage , can't remember if it was my aunt or the maid that told us that it's my dog, so both of us bursted out crying.

Hi dear, It happened with me several times, when I was a boy of school. In our home there were so many pets like dog, cats, birds, fish, rabbit, pig, cows, hen (chicken), goats and many more. My mom and dad were so fond of them and my moms most of the time spend with them and she loved all very much. Her real loved one was pig. She used to tell also that pig is the most loving among all. She had about 35 years of experience for spending time such all such animals. She used to cry if something inappropriate happens. One of our cow had met an accident and it was around 400 mtrs. away from home. When jump and crossed a muddy water area, its back leg went deep into the bushes and the leg got twisted. The cow cannot walk any more and we placed the cow under a tree. For the next 3 years, my mom treated the cow and many doctors tired their best, but count not walk properly. more than 1 year, we placed the cow under the treat and she treated and finally bought to home. Most of the days she used to cry telling about the cow. Even now, if I just talk about Molly (name of the cow), will not eat food. Whatever it is, she always used to tell, I love my pet more than my children. They listen to me and if call them, wherever they are, they will rush to me from anywhere. But mu children wont do it!!! THank-s

We currently don't have any pet because of a not so good experience I had when I was a child. I fell off a drainage because of a dog and that got my leg really scarred and bleeding. Just this weekend, while I was watching a talk show, the host started to say condolences to a dog on tv. Wow, I though that was new! And the other hosts started to share that some people they know even have coffins prepared for their dogs. This just show how attached they are to their pets and treated them like real human beings.
