hey I am from Philippines and I have a dream since I was a child, I want to go USA and I don't know how and what to do. Now I am married with 1 son, he is 8 months old and I am seeing myself now dreaming to live USA or Canada with my family, specially with my son. My husband works hard for our family. Now I want my dreams to come true. Some times I tried to forget my dreams and time came that it keeps coming back in my mind. I want a better life for my family.

HI, everyone does have a dream... I live in the USA. there are many ways for you to come here... it is not that hard though but you have to know what do you do here, I mean work. Right now in the USA is not a good time to come to live yet... everything is just hard... even work, or living... but you can try. Put a form for visiting

Filipino american dream......i could not blame you as I know how miserable the life in our country. It was my dream as well when I was a young girl, but when I started to grow up, america is not my ideal country to live anymore. I traveled in different countries already and different continents, experienced the way of life, I was also in the US for 6 months in 2009, in europe for a couple of months, in 3 countries in the middle east for several years, visited parts of Africa and south east Asia....compared the way of life in these countries.....america is not the best....you won't feel safe there, although compared to phils it would be better, but if I am to dream, I'd rather dream to live in as small country in Europe, lesser population, well managed peace and order, low crime rate and low unemployment rate. However, if you are looking for a greener pasture, do research and find out what are the types of jobs in demand in the countries you would like to settle in, then get the proper education or training for that particular field.

Everybody wants a better life. I am from the Philippines too, and like you, I also have a dream of living in the US or Canada. Or anywhere else. I understand your frustrations. And yes, it's not easy. I know this is cliche, but you really just have to work hard. What's your line of work? Maybe you can apply there. And then hopefully get a greencard. But it's not easy. Don't get your hopes up too much. As much as I want to support you in your dream, first you have to also understand the consequences of living there. Being away from your loved ones here, the cost of living, etc. But I really, really get you. I know how it feels not to be able to fulfill or live your dreams. But we keep dreaming. Because nothing is impossible. God bless you and your family. I wish your family well.
