Hi, myLotters, have you heard tunisian rap? I hear it for the first time when I was checking the situation around their Jasmine revolution. It's not very clear how come that for the first time in the Arab world a president is thrown out of the country with street unrests. But what we knew about Tunisia other that it was a perfect tourist destination?
Now I learned that Tunisians have organised protests in Facebook and Twitter. And a rapper was arrested after his song about the hard situation in the country became a hit in Youtube. Enjoy:

This was a bit different and not like the rowdy type of rap it was actually depicting a point. I enjoyed it very much and also surprised that the President was thrown out.
I see the high numbers in Youtube. I am not familiar with Tunisian rap but will stay at the link and continue viewing more as it is pretty interesting.
