I can get two new cell phones if I extend my contract. I am not sure what to get. I don't have the money for anything fancy but would like a keypad. I have ATT as my cell service provider. What phones do they have free and which ones are good? I am not so sure myself. Can I get internet connectivity free of charge?

Although not all of them, a lot of phones with full keyboard seems to need to be linked to data plan. Also, I don't know what your price limit is. Phone called "Pantech Link" seems to be a good phone. According to the brief description, you only need messaging service with it. Of course you can get a data plan as well if you wanted to. It seems to be on sale now & you can get it online for free.

Wow, congrats. I am also upgrading my contract. I recommend that you look for a Samsung. There is no other brand more reliable than that. I already have a Samsung. And I am looking to get another one of that brand. Believe me their cell phones can stand just about anything. I used mine in the rain. It even fell down at my university parking lot four times. But never stopped working. Another important thing is that Samsung phones have the best quality battery. Last time, when I started talking to my boyfriend at night my phone showed that my battery had only two knobs remaining. I finished talking to him. Two hours passed. But the two knobs remained. Stay away from all LG phones. My boyfriend has LG V2. Within four months of getting it, he had to get it replaced again because it fell down and that is also on the carpet. But stopped working. Now the new V2's buttons are almost going, but he does not even use it that much. The only person he talks to on it is me. And sometimes calls his parents. Yet look how it is breaking.

I really don't know what you are looking for in a phone, but keep this in mind, that there are good phones and also bad ones. I own one of the galaxy s phones by Samsung, and I must say that it is the best phone I have ever had or used. It has a lot of features, one being that it has a bright screen, and a fast processor, which makes it a good phone as far as I am concerned. It has a gps, wifi, a camera, and way to many other features to name. I can do a lot with it, and I am really enjoying it a lot. By the way, it has the Android OS, and I wasn't sure if I would like Android or not, but I like it far more than any other phones that I have ever used. I like the fact that I can get apps from the market place, some free and some not. I highly recommend any Android phone, if you can afford it. Take care, and have a very good day.

I have to suggest one thing first, buying a phone be confusing at times but let me tell you something since you don't like anything 'expensive'(if thats what you meant) To make things less complicated, you need to convince yourself as to what you want to do with the phone, your need when you own one. Some people like texting and Push Email, they mostly buy Blackberry phones, some are in to media phones so they buy Iphone or Sony Ericson....And now you have Android phones that has capability to do everything. Let me know if I can be any help.
