Do you think facebook is overrated, "mind-warping", or negative in any way? Why or why not?

I think some people use facebook too much, but I don't see anything negative about it. I think it is a useful service and has certainly kept me in contact with people i otherwise would not be in contact with (I'm not a phone person).
