Our Fallin' Heroes...

Fallin Heroes - Two of our Fallin' Heroes
United States
January 24, 2011 2:56pm CST
On Thursday, we lost two of our honorable officers trying to executive an arrest warrant. While trying to apprehend or pick-up the suspect, they lost their lives just because of a coward who didn't want to go to jail, so he decided to take the lives of two great people. Today, is the memorial for those two fallin' heroes, which we will miss. Our department is mourning right now. They will be terribly missed and loved. What hurts the most is that they left behind their family and kids. Their kids will never get to see their dad or mom anymore. Their family will never be able to spend another minute with them. All the things we sometimes take for granted. Make sure when you get home you give them hugs and tell them you love them, because you never know if they'll ever hear you say those words again.

That is really sad. Dangerous job, I know, but still, those were people with families. I hope they have caught the person who did it?

Actually the person who killed the two officers was also killed on the scene by one of the officers assisting in the execution of arrest warrant for the suspect. The suspect was 22 years old and had a rap sheet of a 50 year old, he was being arrested for the charges to a homicide, when he decided he was going to prision again. Killed two of our officers, wounded one and almost killed a third if the officer wouldn't have shot him first. It's sad that in todays world a life of a human being isn't worth a cent anymore.
