Shane Watson-The one man army.

The way Shane Watson is shaping up, he may become the best all rounder in the world after the world cup. He has been awesome with the bat, and he usually chips in with a couple of wickets. Even today, if he had stayed for some more time, Australia would have won the match and the series. What is your views on this.

Watson seems to be a natural in everything he does. Doing well as an opener in tests too! In his current form, he is already the No:1 allrounder in ODI's. His form this ODI series is phenomenal. I test matches, Kallis will challenge him for the No:1 tag. In T20 many more like Kevin pollard & Angelo Mathews will come into the picture. I firmly believe that Watson should in fact Lead the Aussies. He can certainly inspire the team more than the PUP. Yes, 20 more balls to Watson would have tilted the match in favour of Australians.

You are quite right srijshm, Watson is captincy material, and he will be definitely Australia's captain in a few years.Hope we had a player like that in our team.

He is a future captaincy material for Australia. If he continues in the same way, he may even become one of the best all rounders of the world.

he is ofcourse a one man army. he saves the aussie with the bat and ball and he is one of the better fielders. but australia's from is worrying.they are no longer dominant and i dont think they will win world cup this time around even with 3 watsons

You can never underestimate the Aussies. If a single innings from Pathan can change the fate of the match in South africa, then even Watson can change the course of the matches in the world cup.

Wish he was playing for India as we have always lacked a fast bowling AR. He has been a top performer for sure getting vital break through with bowling and probably scoring most 50s in international formats.
