Drinking 20 glasses a day

Yes. i'm drinking this much a day because i'm into dieting. and it helps my digestion very well. it keeps my skin moist as well as my eyes and mouth. i'm having constipation lately and my mouth keeps on drying up. water really helped me a lot when it comes to my problems.

Drinking 20 glasses a day? ISn't that a little too much? I can't drink that much of water a day because it will result in water retention in my body, and i can die from it. AMount of water i drink depends on the intensity of my daily activities and so it varies. My maximum intake is about 12-15 glasses a day, or 4 1.5 litres bottle.

I don't think that drinking too much water is good for you. If you want to go into dieting, you should do the proper way to do so. Ask your doctor if drinking 20 glasses of water everyday will be beneficial or you might found out later that your kidney is overworking or your blood might be diluted already. I guess, 8 glasses of water a day is the recommended amount of daily intake and anything that is more than normal is not good for your body.

Drinking that much every day is eventually going to be more harmful than helpful because it will wash nutrients out of your body. If you're having problems with constipation and dry skin, you do need more liquid, but not that much. Just because water is good for you, that doesn't mean you should overdo it. And twenty glasses a day is overdoing it.
