What is your favorite type of juice to make?

I have a juicer that I use periodically, probably because I have had and made some really bad combinations. Last weekend my husband made a combination that sounded good, but was horrible. I tend to be conservative, tonight I made white grape and apple juice. I have also discovered that raw carrot juice is not that great tasting, but it makes a wonderful addition to chicken noodle soup, it makes it very sweet. I am looking for some new ideas that you have tried and taste good. Thank you.

Well, I don't have a juicer either but if I have one, I would like to try to juice all fruits in seasons and vegetables of my choice. I guess, that's healthy and it would be easier for me as a mother to treat my children to fresh fruit juices because they are not fond of eating fruits. They would love it I'm sure if I will present it to them as a shake which they will surely loved.

If you want to make your kids a fruit shake the best way is to use a blender, not a juicer. It takes a little more work, because you will need to peel some of the fruits first, but it comes out more like a smoothie.

I'm too poor to be able to afford a juicer. Instead I get juice, often the frozen stuff and make that up. Then I add frozen vegetables in a blender with the juice and have a yummy, healthy drink that is much like a frozen slurpee, only green. Onions and peppers do not make a good addition to juice. Just read the package on your frozen veggies to be sure those 2 are not in the package.

I got my juicer at a yard sale or flea market. I would not pay full price for one either, using the blender is probable just as good, is not better. I have not considered using frozen vegetables thank you for the idea.
