Gaming Problems

I recently posted a discussion asking where most of you get your games from. I have already tried the torrent sites and although most of you tell me that is the best place to get them from my downloads always seem to have a problem. I can download movies or other programs and hardly ever have problems but when it comes to games I always seem to have problems! I tried some of the game sites but they were lame. Most of them only had demo's or trial versions. I did however find out about MAME (multiple arcade machine emulator). I understand that you can use MAME to play a lot of the older arcade type games which are the ones that I like. I tried to download the platform but I can't seem to get it to work. Does anyone know how to get it working?

Good Day friend! If you are having difficulties finding some games to download, I suggest that you go to egydown.com and there you could find latest games that you ever wanted. You can also download softwares of different categories. I have been use egydown for a while when I wanted to download but most of my downloads are softwares. Just try this one if this would help solve your problem.

Thank you for the new site information. I haven't had much luck in finding good gaming sites so far. I can build a computer from scratch but when it comes to games I just don't know anything about them. I have had people ask me about my system but that is not the problem. I don't have the newest gaming set up but I do have enough of a system to play most games as long as they are not too advanced. I just seem to have bad luck in downloading games. I hardly ever have any problems with anything else but the games seem to give me problems. I haven't liked any of the gaming sites either so I am looking forward to trying this new site. Thanks again for the info.

Well, first of all, what graphics card do you have and whats your processor type. Also, what's your OS, these are the things you should take a look into in advance. About MAME, you have to download Roms (which are illegal) and put them in the roms folder for mame. There's a big cache of roms over a gigabyte big (nearly 2) that give you the roms and mame together.

I am running a Dell optiplex 330 which has a dual 2.0 processor with 2gb of ram memory and 240 gb hard drive. I have windows xp installed as the operating system. I don't really need the more advanced games I just like it simple. I just haven't had any luck downloading games. I can download the torrent just fine but when I install the game it never seems to work. I have just tried the game Black Ops and even burned it to a disc and installed it that way then when I went to play it it said it needed Steam running in order for it to work so I downloaded Steam and it still wouldn't play. I like some of the older games like the Mike Tyson's Punchout that came out for the nintendo. Also the original Donkey Kong. Just games like those. I don't even know what some of these new games are about. I do like shooter type games though.
