wouldn't it be great if there was a pill that you just have to take to get rid of hangovers? but alas, there's no such thing. it was my boyfriend's birthday when a few friends and i had a get-together to celebrate the occasion. there were lots of food, that we prepared ourselves, beer and hard drinks (a party wouldn't be complete without them). we had fun and enjoyed ourselves, drinking until we drop. i was so drunk back then that my head was spinning and i was blabbering all sorts of stuff that i couldn't even remember. the next day, my head was pounding and i could barely stand up. i never wanna go over board in drinking again. my friends suggested eating bananas, drinking coffee, taking vitamin b12, eating raw egg (which i wouldn't even dream of doing..yuck!)..and i can't remember the rest. but what i did was, just rest and sleep the whole day and kept myself hydrated and drank lots of water and Gatorade.

I hate hangovers especially if I had to come to work the next day after drinking too much at night. Anyway, I used to have them but in my case, I have discovered that if I drink too much, I have to eat a lot of finger food. Also, I notice that if I stay up late drinking and get to have a few hours of sleep ( probably at most of 4 hours) I actually wake up without a headache. I'm just not sure if it's the same with others but definitely works for me. I would love to have a pill we can just use to take hangovers away instantly. Oops! By the way, drinking lots of water helps.

All of your suggestions work to a certain degree, except for coffee, which only causes more dehydration. If you are addicted to caffeine and have a hangover, it's probably best to drink coke instead of coffee for the morning. The local cure here is tripe soup - which all foreigners find gross, but for us is extremely common, and it works like a charm. I don't know why, it's just boiled beef after all, with a bit of vinegar, but I will always testify that it works. The second local option is juice from pickled cabbage - which contains a lot of salt, no vinegar. Also, I've seen a study saying that, contrary to what your intuition may say, it's good to eat a heavy breakfast, even with something greasy, like fast food. You may have to force yourself to eat it when you have a hangover, but it will make you feel better in a couple of hours.

The I usually don't get hung over and I put it down to drinking a few pints of water at the end of the night just before I go sleep usually works a treat. Water works in the morning too but prevention or at least easing of a hangover is best for me. You could always try milk it doe's work as well. The best hangover cure though is taking another drink you may cringe at the though of another one usually picks you up.

Sleep and a lot of rest should do the trick to cure a hangover without any side effects but if you want the fast way to cure it medicines are the best answer to it. You should try to consult doctors about it and they really can suggest many kinds of medicine which of course able to cure hangover. My advice is don't just take any medicine or taking anything that you thought could cure hangover ask your doctor first but of course ask your doctor BEFORE making yourself DRUNK!. And as for me, there are times when i have hangover i will usually experience hyperacidty my doctor advice me to take kremil-s to normalize it and advice me to take paracetamol to take the hangover away.
