Do you care much about your phone?

Ever since I moved in the US, and had no friends when I got here, my phone never rings at all except when my dad calls me. But other than that, there's really not much going on in my phone. It just sits on the top of the desk, serves as calculator, flashlight, etc. So I don't care much about my phone that sometimes, when it's time to use it, I don't know where I placed it already.

I find that my phone comes in handy when I'm waiting somewhere like the doctor's office. I've got a lot of games on it, which I also have a Nintendo DS for, but I can also listen to music or read books or browse the web etc. When I have to wait somewhere for a long time it really keeps the boredom at bay. I have a good library of books in there, so I don't have to decide which one to bring with me; I can bring them all. As far as making calls goes, I only ever need it for that if I need to get a hold of someone quickly or for an emergency. If I'm supposed to meet someone and I'm going to be late, I can give them a quick call to let them know, or if I'm shopping and I see my Mother's favourite shampoo is on sale, I can call and ask if she would like me to pick it up for her; stuff like that. I've never used it for long casual conversations. xoxo Cyne

I think you will change your attitude very soon. Because after a while, you will have many friends around you. US people are very kind and easy to make friends with. Especially those who surround you. Then, you phone will be used daily, there will be calls, messages. I come to US less than one year, and I have a lot of friends now. So, I thinks your phone will be very useful soon. Good luck~

Well, I do have a landline phone and also a cell phone. I don't use the cell phone much, except when I am travelling. I need the cell phone then to keep in touch with my office back home, and also with the business customers. Besides those, the phone just stays very quiet.

Hi. kimikohime. I care about my phone. I am just hardly on it though. I hardly get that many calls. Just my husband, sister and my cousin calls me. If anything, I usually am calling other people more than they do to me. I am not that much of a phone person. When I was a teenager, I love staying on the phone a lot for a very long time. Now, I get bored with being on my phone all day long.

My phone isn't important, I only use it as a alarm, and I get called once a month. But the phone that is downstairs is the phone that all my family members use, that one is important!

Yes, I do care about my phone, as it is the only phone I use, since I don't have a landline. Now, I don't talk all day on it, but it is used everyday for either calling or receiving calls. I don't know what I would do without my phone, as I would be very lost without it. It is my way of communicating with my family and friends. I do use mine for more than talking on though, as I do browse the interent, watch videos, and tv shows on it. It comes in hand especially when I am not near my computer, or am where there isn't a computer. My phone may not be the best phone out there, but it is the best one for me right now, anyway. Take care, and have a very good day.
