I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good unsigned musicians you have found on youtube even? In any kind of genre I'm in to everything so I'll have a listen to everything.

Well I’m not sure what you mean by “unsigned” but I have some bands I like that are not very famous, their kinda off the beaten track so to speak. Anyway my recommendation is the Yoshida Brothers, they play a traditional stringed instrument called the Shamisen combined with modern rock to create some truly amazing sounds.

I mean that they have yet top signed up to a record label I'm really looking for good music which has yet to be commercialised. Yoshida brothers I'll have a look at them.

Oh right I see, well the Yoshida Brothers are pretty well known, but I don't think they are signed by a record label, at least they are not signed up with a western label. You should try out another japanese band called Gyoko, they are not signed up with any label and they are not easy to find on Youtube either. they are an insane, Sushi fanatical rock band made of former fishermen, it does not get weirder the Gyoko.

I've just had a listen to one of the yoshida brothers songs they're amazing. I started looking into them a bit more and they're are a signed band with Domo records which is based in California. Still I've never heard of them and there unique sound is amazing thanks for your information. I'll check the other musicians out soon as well.

Music is the passion of my life and some unsigned, or lesser known artists are the best I've heard. My recommendations would be Liam Bailey. He is just brilliant. Listen to 'It's Not The Same', 'Motions Of Change', 'Souljacked' and his covers of Etta James' 'I'd Rather Go Blind' and The Smiths' 'Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want'. He has also collaborated with Chase n Status on the track, Blind Faith. This is slightly more commercial and mainstream than his acoustic stuff but it's still a good track. Tell me what you think, please!

Music is a passion of mine also I'll certainly check them out and report back with my verdict. I'm seriously interested in securing a job in the music industry the business end of it though. I love finding new bands I think it be an amazing job to be a promoter tough but exciting.
