i think kissing is more depend on the girl. if she wanted to be a smooth one then you should do it in a smooth way else she will not be able to enjoy it and then you also will not be able to enjoy it. and it also depend on the timing the passion that you are having at the time of kissing. location and timing and girls makes the kiss a perfect kiss

i think it is just a wild thing for that now. when we were a beginner, she wanted it that way until we both realized that making the slower mode is just better...
