Here's another scandal involving our gentlemen in uniform. Do you think this will have the same fate as with the Euro generals where there's no one held responsible and all got away unscratched ? Are we going to see military generals go in jail or will the dirty politic here save their neck again? I hope with the new government, it will be different.

Hi Edna! I am still uncertain of how tough the new government is. I hope it would not be the same as the Euro generals' case. I hope that we could see these crocodiles go to jail. I pity our soldiers who are in the field risking their lives but not compensated well. I once watched a documentary about our soldiers' situation while on field and I felt sad. Their boots are old and already have holes. They don't even have good camp sites on their battle fields. They were like the hostages themselves.

That's what inpired me to start this discussion. Why do the bad ones get all the good money while those in the fields are suffering while doing their job? My heart bleeds for them. My prayers are with them ,too!

With the way things are going, we will talk about it for a while and then foreget them later. I am not surprised anymore with the recent events. I remember one general commented during Trillanes' uprising that they should just wait for their turns to become generals to loot the coffers. We might see some cases filed and then get dismissed later when we are not looking. After all, we have a very efficient Ombudsman - that is, efficient at losing cases.

Wow corruption and unfairness is globally as it appears. I also hope the new Govenment for you will be different as well, as how on earth are people to survive if corruptions continues on the rise.

Let's expect the worst and hope for the best. Corruption is everywhere and since it's deeply rooted in the bureaucracy, we just can't get rid of it overnight. We may have a new president but the people who are working under him are the same people who had been around for ages and are witness the all the corruption thats going on and yet kept their silence over the years. Even the president is not new to corruption, as a matter of fact he had been witness to all the corruption ever since he was a kid.
