Outrageous Tax Refunds

The other day I was speaking with a friend about tax refunds. This person told me about a co-worker's daughter and her insanely huge tax refund. The girl lives with her boyfriend/husband (not sure which) and their 2 children. Neither one are employed or seeking employment for that matter. This year they filed jointly and are planning to receive a $10,000 refund. This seems absolutely outrageous! They live off of government money and now they're going to get an additional $10,000 of taxpayers money in their pocket. I'm all for helping people out when they need it, but there comes a point when enough is enough. Where do we draw the line? When do say enough is enough? I sincerely hope this information was very inaccurate and this is not the direction our country is heading in.
