February 3rd,2011 is New Year in the Chinese Lunar calendar,we call it Spring Festtival of Rabbit Year. To all Chinese,Spring Festival is the most important festival of all in a year. Before the New Year's eve,All those people who are away home outside must arrive home to get together and have a big dinner with the family. All Chinese both at home and overseas celebrate Spring Festival. In China, service staffs have a 7-day holiday. At the eve,we are sure to set off firecrackers or fireworks.During these days, children are given new clothes and red envelopes with "lucky" money inside and the young men play basketball. The grown-ups usually play mah-jongg or playing cards for entertainment, together with the kids visit relatives to wish them a Happy New Year. The dinner for the New Year is very rich, such as dumpligs,Baizhanji,Kourou and big fish! That's the Chinese Lunar New Year described by me.Welcome you all!Come over to China and join us right now!

Yes, I know the Chinese Lunar New Year. There is a huge China Town here in the city I am living in. A very big Chinese community, and the New Year is celebrated in a very grand and impressive way. I do go to the celebrations every year, and also enjoy dinner there at the traditional Chinese restaurants. I certainly wish I can come over to China right now and join in the celebrations. Happy New Year to you !
