Politics and the Weather

In my quaint city, people are blaming the mayor for the weather. Blaming him for what is coming from the sky ... they say he's a one-term mayor ... why, because many feel that he has been slow to have the snow and ice plowed and cleaned. Some of the streets in my town are so tiny that it is difficult if not impossible for the many differing type snow removal vehicles to pass through. On top of that, the neighborhood people actually park their cars in front of their homes located on those same tiny streets. Are you blaming your mayor ... and would you consider making him/her a one-termer for not responding to these unbelieable weather conditions of late?

heck no! Dont plow, I like to be snowed in. Unfortunately, I am in a state that the snow melts mostly the next day (lots of sun). In all seriousness, no I would not blame the mayor for the snow but yes he does hold responsibility for the clean up.

Ha! Yupps, laglen ... people are really coming down on their politicians lately ... to say the least! What an issue to oust the mayor for! Being politically involved, engaged for oh so many years, I've never witnessed such political awarenesses! I guess pocketbook issues will do the trick everytime. On-the-other hand, I'm absolutely please that people are finally attententively engaged.
