Fight Or Beat Down?

I hung out with friends earlier and they brought someone new to the group, an officemate of one of my friends, let's call him Tado. Tado is a thin guy, approximately 5'2" in height, and wears glasses (for Filipinos, he looks like Tado, the TV personality, that's why the name). We were just outside a condo, a friend's place, chatting when two hugely framed iranians came by and asked for a light. Tado lent them a lighter then exclaimed "Hey, be careful with that, that's expensive." with an insulting and stressed tone to all of our surprise, including the two foreigners. What we didn't realize was the two was drunk. One of them raised his arm as if he'll slap Tado on the face. Then his friend stopped him. Me and my friends were sitting on a gutter and Tado was standing with his fists raised as if he's gonna fight that dude. No one of us stood up to back Tado up, I think we had the same idea, watch a beatdown out if this fool. After a couple of talk between the foreigners, they threw the lighter back to Tado and just walked away. Then Tado sat back with the rest of us and said something like "I could have beat him up if his friend wasn't there to put some sense into him." Really? I was so sure it was his (Tado) funeral waiting to happen. Have you ever met someone like this? I just did and it was pretty amusing. Although I'm sure I won't be hanging out with him after that.

Good for tado! ( whoever that is ) There isn't anything wrong with believing in yourself. Haven't you ever heard the expression, it's not the size of the dog in the fight it's the amount of fight in the dog. Maybe he was quick and could have worn them out some.

He sounds like bad news. Next time the guys might not walk off, then you'll have a real fight on your hands, and you'll end up getting dragged into it. The guy is bad news, probably though he was being clever because he had his new friends there. I'd dump him straight away.

He is bad news. All we know is we're not tolerating that kind of attitude. Withing my group, we know crystal clear that we got each other's backs but I will NOT be catching punches for this guy, that's for sure.
