Can we save our earth?

Recently, the Inter-governmental Panel on C limate Change (IPCC) published the results of observations of scientists from various countries. The content is very surprising. During the year 1990-2005, there have been increasing temperature was evenly distributed throughout the earth, between 0.15 to 0.3 o C. If the increase in temperature continues, estimated in 2040 (33 years from now) layer of ice at the poles of the earth will be depleted melt. And if the earth continues to heated, in 2050 will be a shortage of fresh water, so that hunger will be widespread throughout the universe. The air will be very hot, millions of people fighting over food and water. Breathing the smoke and dust. The houses in coastal areas inundated by sea water. Sea water overflow more and more widespread, so that eventually swallow the whole island. Property will disappear, so does the human soul. In Indonesia, a similar phenomenon has occurred. During the year 1980-2002, the minimum temperature of Polonia (North Sumatra) increased 0.17 ° C per year. Meanwhile, Denpasar maximum temperature increased up to 0.87 ° C per years. Visible sign is the disappearance of snow that had blanketed the only one snowy place in Indonesia, namely Mount Jayawijaya in Papua. The study conducted scientist at the Center for Coastal and Marine Area Development, Bandung Institute of Technology (2007), was no less horrific. Apparently, the Gulf sea levels rise as high as 0.8 cm in Jakarta. If world temperatures continue to rise, it is predicted, in 2050 in Jakarta areas (such as: Kosambi, Penjaringan, and Cilincing) and Bekasi (such as: Muaragembong, Babelan, and Tarumajaya) will be submerged everything. Given this phenomenon, as citizens of the island nation, we should not worry. Because global warming threatens national sovereignty. Ice-melt at the poles and flows into the sea off Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the largest gas (75%) contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Every time we use fossil fuels (oil, gasoline, natural gas, coal) for household, car, factory, or burn the forest, we automatically releasing CO2 into the air. Other gases also enter the top rankings are methane (CH4, 18%), ozone (O3, 12%), and clorofluorocarbon (CFCs, 14%). Much methane gas generated from decomposition of organic material as is the case in cattle. Methane gas is also produced from the use of fuel for vehicles.

Do not have dug coal mining in Kalimantan and elsewhere because even though it was launched Go Green, but further excavation continues to mean all no one will care about global warming.

One cause of global warming is the removal of fumes of vehicles using diesel fuel and premium, well let's replace it with diesel and fuel premiium having fewer gas emissions, such as by using biodiesel and bioethanol (usually spelled both biofuels) in addition to environmentally friendly , is also more affordable price.

It was too late and still more who do not care. Virtually all the global warming problem can be solved in Indonesia. because the problem just want to or not, is not able or not. we better wait because who is more terrible, from global warming. maybe after that we are an emerging consciousness. and make the event as a turning point.
