Last Sunday while my son was playing with one of his playmates my husband told me something I kept thinking about. He told me that there is no interaction happening with my son playing something over an iPad.He was indeed right.Remember when there was no computer, ipad, psp and other stuff.During my time I play with kids, running all the way home to be able to play with our neighbors. We would chase each other until we get tired.Well now you can do anything if you don't wanna go out.You can go online and play games. There's psp, gameboy, wii and other stuff which you can do for fun.And the interaction is between you and the console.Since technology doesn't stop its wide change every now and then..getting more and more accessible, informative making everything easy for everybody.

actually with psp, you can have some interaction with people who have psp to, i saw a bunch of guys doing it while playing naruto on their PSPs, they are on the same game and it's like a network of psp, also, there are multi player rpg games where kids/people interact with each other.... maybe if kids are into sports like basketball or football then they would have more interaction with other kids, but maybe some kids are introverts that they prefer to play alone with game consoles or computers

I guess its still different when you play with something or doing something beyond limits.Honestly,if I had an introvert son I would never tolerate him to play alone with game consoles because it will not do good, this is on my opinion only because its not gonna make him experience what being a real kid and childhood is. ;) ..

I think it is good to have a day out without any technology on the mind. My kids and I make it a habit to go out for a movie once a month. It is also good to get them involved in some games activity in school. That will be good interaction with friends.
