Hi there, I'm not familiar when it comes to computer specifications. I'm planning to buy a laptop which will be used mainly for internet, games and backup of photos and videos. 10" lcd/monitor will do. Honestly, I'm short if cash basis, my budget is only up to 13,000T. If installment, my credit card can't accommodate it for the moment, that's why I'm looking for the cheaper one. They say the durability depends on the owner :D Any recommendation for the brand and store? Any advice when buying laptops Thanks :)

Check out Red Fox netbooks. It's a Filipino company whose laptops are made in China. You're right, durability depends on the owner. So if you are a careful owner, then your laptop will last longer regardless of brand. Red Fox sells the cheapest laptops I have seen.

It's a Filipino company but as I said, they have their laptops manufactured in China. They have this Wizbook with 160G of storage that is in your price range. The good thing about it is that if you encounter problems, it's easy enough to replace. I saw their shop in SM Marikina. They probably have one in Megamall.

Are you planning to use the laptop for long-time surfing? Try out sub-notebooks/netbooks. Their batteries can last for as long as 8 hours, 13 tops. Plus, they're really light (as if you're not carrying anything). That is if you're traveling around and you have no access for power sockets. Top brands for me are ASUS, MSI, Lenovo, and Samsung (in that order).

i think it would depend as the what you want, portability, connectivity, price... as for me i bought a 10 inch laptop because i do not want the laptop to be an addition of my worries... but then of course some would want to be able to connect their laptops in lcd tvs and watch movies, others just want large storage... etc... these are the things you should consider. ;)

I read above the redfox but I will go with Acer. When looking every time with there products I find them cheaply compare to some known brands from other country. I agree that it is always depends on user but sometimes hardware components plays big part.
