I think Norton antivirus is the best for windows XP.As i also used this software so i know it's good.So you can try this hope it will be suitable for your computer and you will like it. All the best!

This may be a stupid question. But do you use the free version or purchase the license? By my experience: Norton is good, but slows down the computer. I have stopped using it. Quick Heal: The customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Though someone did mention that they have improved on that. But having had the bad experience, will not use again. AVG: I have never tried the Licensed, I have used the free version. My friend swears by it. He should know, his whole life revolves around Computers. Kaspersky: I have been using it for two years running now, and have no complaint whatsoever. I purchased the license for it though.

Hi there maheshagy!!! Well I've been using avast for years now and I can say that it is one of the best antivirus to use.It doesn't make my pc unresponsive unlike when I am using mcafee,my pc always hangs and eats up a lot of memory.Avast is lighter than mcafee but alot better. It automatically protects my pc and I am very satisfied with how it protects my pc. Avast feautures are also amazing as of now I am using the internet security of avast 5.I am very amazed and I think I will use it for long. The user interface is also very intuitive and I think it can easily be understood by beginners.
