My sister and I were born only a year a part. I don't remember ever being lonely as a child. I always had someone to play with :) Since I am the older one I got a bit frustrated with her when I was a teenager and didn't think it was cool to have her hanging around me all the time. For a while we therefore didn't do many things together. I always felt bad about that but a couple of years ago she told me that this was the best thing I could do for her because it gave her the opportunity to stand on her own feet and be independent. Today we are best friends although we live far a part. We even had our first kids only 3 months apart, both boys :) I am so happy to have my sister in my life!

I envy you because I didn't experience having an older sister or brother but at least I have my bestfriends to comfort me..

hope you are happy and you must be happy because you have your loving,caring and friendly sister with you.i undstand now you people are not living together but still you are binded by the bond and thats the best thing one should have in their life.

Aww that is a really nice thing to say. I also have an elder sister. Although we quarrel all the time, I love her a lot. I never say stuffs like this to her face, but I would be lost without her. She's my inspiration and my strength. She always supports me in whatever decisions I take. I love her :)
