What is life truly about?

I often wonder why we have been put on this earth. Sure you can look at it spiritually, or religiously but why?? I mean is life really a gift? We service each day with trying to find a ultimate happiness. But sometimes I wonder why we are given the tools to corrupt ourselves. The world is becoming messy with greed, pollution violence the list goes on. So are the people who stay sane and positive the ones that get the ultimate gift in the end? But what happens to the people who had no choice in the family they were brought up in? Or the surroundings that they have been given? I have to count my blessings big time because I know Im truly lucky for what I've been given. Ive won the lottery with having a decent life in every aspect. But with all the torture, pain and demons out there I wonder if there really is a higher power watching over us? Because if I were that Id never want to see my children suffer... I know we can all control our own reality with the power of thought.. and if god is an energy then he's a piece of every one of us. But if there really is someone watching over us.. why would he allow so much pain and suffering in this world??? I I would enjoy hearing other peoples takes on what they believe in. It could possibly give me some insight to it all..

I see life as it is. It is meant to be lived. What happens to us is something we will never know. We will be in constant contact with surprise. Good or bad, we have to face it. We may ask questions but I think that it would be more of fun to just let loose and live the adventure. Life gives us the freedom to choose on so many things. Basically it does not control you in any way. To be happy or not is a choice. To wonder on how things would be is an option too but spending so much time on the thought of it will just make you miss so much. Let us just allow life to do what it does. Besides, we only have little time to explore on the great possibilities it offers.

Do you believe though that we can control our reality with the power of thought? What is your take on energy do you believe in that?

Wow. It made me thinking. In a way maybe. There are just so much we can do on the things in front of us. We may accept or deny it. Others who really can't handle it just finds an escape. Sometimes most of the time we spend is on make believe. Unreal but we take it in as if it is. I have always been fascinated by the energy surrounding us. I do believe in them. The power of it to influence us in every way is just amazing. Now I am confused. But what remains is, things will happen. Whatever they may be, we just have to learn on how to deal with them.

If you want to learn more about the power of thought and energy.. Pick up the secret. There are SOoooo many books based on this but The Secret is a very quick read and its very self explainitory. Trust me you'll get through it in a couple of hours and your entire way of thinking literally will be changed forever. For the your own ultimate good.

Earth is our training ground. There are reasons why God is allowing all the pain and sufferings so He could see who are His children,His followers because God is creating a family. God is preparing us to be in His Kingdom soon. If you think you are lucky enough because you won a lottery, do you mind to share it with others?maybe that's your challenge! Do you mind to give something to the poor? Those poor, tortured, suffering from pain, homeless children,fatherless,victims,..etc etc...God has something for them in the future! and upon His coming He will use His followers to take care of them and unleashed them from this demonic world..what we just can do right now for those innocents and victims of this world is to hardly pray for them while we are doing the right thing.

When I say lottery I dont mean financially! I mean in the way my life turned out. Its like when people say they won the genetic lottery. I see what you're saying because my father was a very religious man. But when you hear someone preaching about one thing and then doing the next and leading a double life I tend to second guess everything. When people pray, and god answers their prayer's. Its more or less a positive energy they are projecting out into the universe.. How come Im able to control whatever I want in my life through the power of thought?? Regardless if Im negative or positive.. I tend to attract everything into my life. Dont you think that is a power only god should have control over???

We are god and we are all connected to each other and to the universe, I believe. To truly know what good things are and what they feel like we must go through hardship and negativity. Its a natural part of the universe that keeps us going back to the true way of life: pure positive and peaceful believing and allowing. I accept that I can't change others lives, even my own children, for they are on their path in life to which they are finding out lifes purpose for themselves. The purpose is to find good feeling thoughts that change your life right now. Appreciating and loving will bring more love and positivity towards you. Its the law of attracting what you think about. Happiness isn't the destination but rather the path to a great and abundant life.

I definitely agree with that way of living life. It has been proven time and time again that the power of thought can and will control your reality. Its an art to understand how to master your thoughts in the best possible way. Sometimes we need to keep ourselves in check with always genuninely feeling positive and thinking positive because we've lived by a certain way for so long that when this information is learned it seems so true and so natural to live but with the wrong influences around you can get back on a self destructing mental path. Surrounding yourself with positives is also key. Wether it is sunshine, changing scenery, spending more or less time with family and frineds, eating the right food, having a pet to love etc can all help... Thanks for your insight:)

Life is what we make it..We suffer, yes! a lot! in strive for searching the real you. Along the journey we discover something difficult, something happy, something nice, something frustrating but all of which has a goal and that is to teach us and then impart those that we learn to others. We have different believes yet we are one because we still go along the hierarchy of needs. Higher power is faith. He gives us problems for us to solve because he knows your capacity and what you could still do further. We are created uniquely in his own way and strategy. We do have part in this whole wide world. And I know for sure, He is happy because he created a wonderful person like you. Just pray and work all you can in all aspects. Be brave to face your problems but be coward towards his consequences when you do something bad. On the other hand, always ask for forgiveness because he is always willing to forgive every sin that we make as long as it is heartily asked..have a nice day ahead..=D

I don't know why would he allow so much pain and suffering in the world. But I can feel God . We are living only to serve him and to do what he wishes .

Dear msvice, I do believe that life is made by our understanding of things, by the way our mind perceives and can interpret our emotions and interactions. I loved "the secret", and i also put it into action; i managed to attract many interesting things and situations in my life, good and bad. What had happened to me is no coincidence, i managed even to dream in advance some things that would happen in my life. I can't, yet, tell you that i mastered the thought-emotion game, but i am working on it every day, and i do believe that life is a gift, a gift for us to train ourselves and gain power over our senses-based reality.
