i can't reach or add a friend anymore?

After i added my best friend, the administrator of facebook told me that my account was blocked because of spamming or too fast to add friend or other reason (i forgot the reason). Have you a same condition like me before? What did you do to re-open your account so you can add a friend again? Could anybody tell me why the administrator oftenly do a banning or block someone? So, what is facebook for if we can't reach or add a friend?
