Recently my work place smoking ban, whereas previously provided a place to smoke, but now all those places shut down and temporarily provided a place very far so it takes time and effort to get there. I do not know if this is the best solution. Many people, including me once upon a time in desperate need of a cigarette was interrupted job. True, smoking is very detrimental to good health of people who smoke and nonsmokers, but whether to close the smoking areas have become the best solution ? Sometimes I think stupid, why should there be a ban on smoking, why did not the cigarette company that closed? What do you think about it, whether on your premises also apply the same rules or there may be a better solution ?

The best way to avoid this kind of problem is to quit smoking. It is hard to do so, but it still can be done if you really make your heard to do it. Nowadays, there are so many places where there are air conditional room, supermarket, office and many more that have ban people to smoking in there. For people who do not smoke, is a good news, for those who are smoking, this is really a bad news for them, just like what happen in your company, they only temporary close down certain smoking area and that already make you all suffer and affect your job. It happen in my company too where there is only one place for people to smoke, the toilet. So, whether you like it or you don't like it, you have to bear with it. So, still, my best suggestion is to quit smoking.

Here in the US it is highly enforced for two years now, that no one can smoke in any public places and in fact it is not allowed within 15 feet of a business door. First penalty is enforced at $250 and thereafter double and tripled in amounts. As a conscious smoker myself I do not see a problem with it. I have had my moments when I felt it necessary to smoke for me but have always respected the non-smokers to the point where as I do not invade their space. I am hoping to quite really soon, and regret ever starting to begin with. Best of luck with you.

I think this is a way of helping those who smokes quit the habit. I may look violating some rights but health and work is at stake here and we have to cut off rights and privileges to preserve life and economy. I think any solution to help kick out this bad habit should be welcome by everybody, smokers or not. If we could lick out the habit, then everybody gains from it!
