Do you feel that Apple products are taking over all the other brands?

I feel that Apple is hypnotizing people to keep buying their product & making new ones so quickly.
I used to like Apple products but now I realize they're just a waste of money because the products are all somewhat similar with just newer features and because of the brand name. I stop purchasing apple products.
Why do you like apple or why not?

While Apple right now has been releasing newer versions of there products almost every six months or so this was not always the case it was only in the recent past that Apple had such a fast turn around I remember when I was using Apple computers in my early school years and they had technology in them that was already far outdated Apple was behind the times and it was like that until about 2001 when they released the Ipod which was a hit then they realized that they needed to cut down the time in which they got new things to market and well then you have the Iphone which was another hit that was in 2007 and now they have the Ipad which is 9 months old and well they are releasing the ipad2 which is going to be an awesome thing. I have only recently gotten my first Apple/Macintosh Computer the iMac the reason I got it is because of one thing Apple has always been able to do offer support for their products for many and many years to come the life span of an Apple computer is 10 years or more while with a Windows PC good luck keeping that. The reason Apple can do this is that they are very careful on what they put in their products and also which technologies they decide to support. They don't allow the massive amount of components because they want to control the quality and experience of their users.
I am now a fan of Apple because of owning both an Ipod Nano and a iMac I can see the quality and the pure attention they give to everything comes together to make a really good and unique product. That while being made out of everything a PC has in it. It feels like a completely different from any of the Windows PC I have had in the past.

i own an a 160GB ipod classic and a 16GB ipod touch and am happy with both.If they make a bigger classic, i will probably by it although my 160 is plenty big. it seems i allways have to have the latest and biggest when it comes to my ipod's but i don't plan on buying an ipad or any other apple product.AS far as ipods go, i think they are great products but i have know need for any other apple product at this time.I must admit that when i bought these item's, the apple name had a big influance on my purchases.

I have an Ipod Classic and Ipod Touch.so far I enjoy my Apple products.although,there is another competitor for me.I would love to have an Archos 5.its got 500GB capacity.my Ipod and ITouch are almost full.I would definitely buy Archos.
