How to earn from facebook?

I've been reading some posts from the internet telling something about earning money through facebook. Do you guys have any idea about this? I mean how could a person earn from this without buying anything from those internet gurus who claim to be moneymakers instead of moneysuckers:-P I've been doing some research about marketing world, and this is something I'm trying to figure out. I've had some tips you might want to check out, just drop me hello at www.doohickeys-eye.blogspot.com I'll let you know if I found something because I understand that there are simple people here who really want to get an extra income online. The blog is currently my project because I've seen a lot of moneysuckers gurus out there who are taking advantage to some people. No offense, its just my opinion:-)
