How to Unblock a Website that's been blocked by Website Blocking Buddy sofware!

Here are the steps that I used to unblock sites that have been blocked using the Website Blocking Buddy software. This software does not allow you to unblock the sites without paying $29. Even uninstalling it does not help at all. So I have a few experimented steps to unblock the sites effectively. 1. Click Start 2. Click Computer 3. Click Local C 4. Click windows folder 5. Click System32 folder to open 6. Click Drivers folder to open 7. Click etc folder to open 8. Click to open Hosts file. Use notepad from the option to open the file When open you should see something like this at the bottom: 127.0.0.1 LocalHost ::1 LocalHost 127.0.0.1 www.yourblockedsite.com The block site there is: 127.0.0.1 www.yourblockedsite.com To unblock it simply delete that line and save it by clicking File on notepad and clicking Save. It shall save successfully in the etc folder. Should you get an error when saving, Cancel it and leave the hostfile as is. Don't close the system32/drivers/etc window yet. Follow the trick below then: 1. Click STart 2. Click Documents Now you have two windows open. 1 for system32/drivers/etc and 1 for Documents Continue with the steps below: 3. Click Hosts file to highlight it 4. Drag it towards the Documents window so the host file will be placed there 5. Open the host file from the Documents window. Then Delete this line only: 127.0.0.1 www.yourblockedsite.com 6. Save it. It should be saved successfully from the Documents window w/o errors 7. Once saved, drag the host file from documents back to system32/drivers/etc window where it was originally placed 8. Close all windows. Open a browse and access the blocked site. You must then be able to access it without problems. If you wish to block a website through your computer, just follow the steps above and just add this value 127.0.0.1 www.iwanttoblockthissite.com Save it, drag it back to system32/drivers/etc window Open a browser and try to access the blocked site and you must not be able to access it then. This is the most effective way to block and unblock a site. Blocking a site from the browser is not a good thing to do because it will still be accessed. I tried that from my browser to no avail.
