What is the actual mean of sense of humour ???

Many times my friends told me that I have lack in sense of humour,but I cant get them.I dont understand that what is the actual mean of sense of humor ? I always try to make people happy although for it I have to accept kind of pain which I never bother about.It's fact that I cant hide expressions of my heart lyk my happyness or sorrowness,evenif my angerness.All are just reflect on my face as a child.After this age of 25,I cant left my childish nature.Is it realy lack in me that sense of humour ?

It means can you take a joke. Its a term used when you say a joke about the person and they get mad one would say you have no sense of humor. If the person laughs then he/she has a sense of humor. meaning liking things that are funny.
