A lady needed help from me in the Public bathroom

I had to use the restroom at a restaurant today. The restroom only had two stalls. Both stalls were used. The first one that got empty was a handicapped stall that had a little girl using it. After she got out I went into it because I had to go to bathroom real bad.
Not much longer while I was in there I heard a lady tell another lady that was mentally disabled to knock on the door to see if anyone was in my stall. She knocked and I said that I was in there. The other lady used the other stall because it was empty. The mentally disabled lady mad a grunting sound all the time in there. The other lady got done in the other stall but I could hear the other lady still grunting so I thought to myself maybe she is in a wheel chair and I'm in the handicapped stall I need to hurry so I got out and I noticed that she was in the other stall and the other lady left the bathroom so I went back in the stall I was in because I felt like I was still not finished.
She made a grunting sound the whole time and then said dang.Then she said I can't get to the toilet paper. I said I will get you some after I wash my hands.
Not much longer after I said that she said. I got it and I said okay.
I figured maybe the one slot was out of toilet paper and she couldn't figure out how to get the toilet paper to come out of the other one. That can be confusing sometimes.
I never dealt with someone needing toilet paper before in the other stall and I would hate to be her but that was kind of an awkward situation.
What do you think of this situation and if you have dealt with something like this share with me your story.

Thank you for commenting. I know a lot of people that don't use public restrooms either because they say they are too nasty. LOL.You have a good day!

@richnai, Thank you for commenting. Public toilets here in the States I've found that they squat sometimes which is gross. Ladies do that . I've learned to clean the top of the toilet before I sit down on it.

I suppose I would have handled it as you as when nature calls and the bathroom is empty but the stalls are full I would enter it and try to hurry in the event a handicapped person arrived.
As for the toilet tissue, I suppose had you known in advance you could have slipped her some under the stall. But she did not speak up and you would not have known nor I so I would have handled it as you did.

Thank you for commenting. That's what happened to me. There was only two stalls and both were full until the little girl came out of the handicapped one and then I went in it. I'm glad that the lady wasn't in a wheel chair that was going to the bathroom. That would be terrible!

I have often had people ask for toilet paper because their stall was out, but I haven't had that specific situation come up. I would pull off some from my stall and hand it under the wall. I don't know if that was an option there. Talk to you later.

Thank you for responding. It was the option here but I already wiped LOL. and I didn't want to give it to her with dirty hands. LOL. so I was going to wash my hands after leaving the stall and then put it under the stall from my side if nobody took it in the mean time then I would have to put it under it from the front which would be hard for her. I was stuck in a bathroom with out toilet paper so now I always cary some with me every where I go I got in my purse.

I have ran into that problem before too but no stalls next to me so I had to just deal with it. :( Thank goodness that has only happened once!
