I think grandchildren are part of a new family. This is something new. First of all the man loves his wife, then their children and grandchildren. By the time the wife got tired and then only happiness are children. Do you agree?

Maybe what you are observing is the newness of loving children and all the stages of growing up. They keep you feeling young and alive sometimes. This may not be a loving more than the wife, but in addition to. I bet for most situation like this, Grandpa would be lost without his better half. It is because of the comfort that has accumulated over time that he is able to enjoy the newness of life through his grandchildren.

Yes, that's the feeling of getting older everyday, but with the younger ones around, it made life complete. Appreciate your view.

HI, I would say I am not in the right position to give a comment to your question as I am not a grandma yet. But to be fair, I do believe my husband will love me and our grandchildren in the same way. Therefore, there is nothing to get jealous on each other.

Of course your husband will love you forever, and affection goes to the younger ones.
