I love to jog. Lately I do not really have time to go jogging. I can see that some prefer to jog in the morning and some prefer to jog in the evening. I heard that there differences in health values whether we jog in the morning or evening. What are the differences if any? What is you opinion about this issue?

Only one benefit i can see that if we do jogging in evening then our food that we take in a day that digest very well. I can only see this benefit otherwise both are good and it's very helpful for healthy body. I also don't have extra time to jogging but when i go to my university then i walk very fast so it becomes jogging for me. Good luck!

Jogging helps to speed up metabolism. When this happen, energy is produced. I would say jogging in the morning is best. You will have more energy to last you through the day. If you jog at night, you might not be able to get a good night's sleep.

I can only assume that the only benefits would be preference and time availability. As some like to do it early in the morning to give them a great energetic start for the day. While others prefer at night as a preference after a hectic day perhaps to release some of the day stress. I checked the net and could not find if there was in fact a difference outside of it simply being a preference and or when the person can actually get to it. Would be interesting to know if there actually is a difference as I can exercise either in the morning or at night, depending on when I have the time. This article is one of the many which all pretty much says the same: http://caloriecount.about.com/matter-time-jog-ft29678
