India

Well... It was 25/09/2010, when I joined here in new city(Agra) in a college in a research project and I have been parted from friends and all those person who were once my listener and big appreciater for all my planning which I want to imply in the NGO which we used to run from my time of graduation ... But everything I have left with the old city and friends and thought I would come here after spme interval and do some thing in the time which I will get as holiday and all... But nothing could be poosible in all these time and I got much frustration... Recently I have tried to find some persons here and been together with some youngster of my age or 4-5 years older than me ..and planned to start a NGO here, where these person are local... I have suggested a project, on which we dont have to do much or invest much but result can be so good for many children regarding education and future for them.. As in India, government has implemented a law for private school regarding filling their 25% of seat from the children who belong from BPL(Below Poverty Line). But no school can be found who is doing it for 5%.. So we have planned to visit such villages and make a list of those family and children near by it and then go to school and goverment official to arrange their admission in coming months .. This will surely help many families and children... If any of you have any suggestion about my plan then please share with me ... Thanks...

...this is a very noble work sincere4frdship...and im glad you are initiating one that will help your fellow citizens. Should you be visiting many villages in india perhaps it is best to set meeting first with the government official in charge first to have backgroun on the people in their area. Meeting with them will give you a preview on what type of population they have. Demaographics i think can also help you about the age range of how much is your target audience will be. You will also have an idea on how big or small the numbers you will be dealing with..this is just my two scents worth, hope will help you as well...keep up that good heart of yours, friend!

Thanks for appriciating my plan.. India is a very big country and what we are going to do is just visiting very few villages around 25-30 at intial level around this city where I am staying now.. We will preapre some documents based on the requirement which they want to be fulfilled and then we will visit government official too .. If this plan get successfull then I will ask my other friends too to do the same where ever they are and doing some NGO work ... Thanks...

I am not sure how all this project will work as it is different to anything we have here but, it sounds a fantastic project and I wish you all the best of good fortune in setting it up and helpling many, many people!

Knowing India and all its red tape, I can tell you this. You will face problems, that is definite. Then there are very old age biases and social customs.Keep cool and work on. You will some day make India proud. Best of luck.
