What's the one or two subjects that you find yourself constantly talking about?? You may start off in one subject - but (depending on who you talk to) eventually wind your way back to this one subject. It could be a current event issue maybe? We would like you to tell us about your truest heart on that one matter...??? Come on - SHARE!! Let's get that lil soapbox out and jump right on up there. What would you like to say to the world?? I think I'm a gifted communicator.... but, I don't have a bevy of followers chasing after my every word... yet!!! BwaaHAhaha (evil laugh) (for example... I love to try and help people make money - if they're open) But most of all.... I do enjoy touching the hearts and lives of people I know. Sometimes I think they don't realize how special they are... I reassure!!

Hi Dug, I think I am more a listener than communicator. Hence, people ask me about my life but without saying much, some how it always ends up with the conversation turning back to them and their lives. It doesn't matter what subject seems to be the topic they always seem to turn it back on themselves and bask in the limelight of the conversation being about their lives. Now a days, I listen and nod when needed or if asked give advice and help. Obviously they are in need of reassurance and need to unburden their problems. Guess this is my role in life.

They may do that b/c there's something inside of you that they admire; see something in you that they themselves would like to be Everyone talks about themselves more than the other person. If you can ask them a challenging question - it may spark a conversation where they are required to actually dialogue with you - instead of droning on about themselves all the time. Be sure to make your point - "It was great to actually have a chance to speak.... with you."

I have no real problem if they need an ear to listen while they unburden things that are distressing them in their life. Just not sure why they start with..."How are you? and before I have answered continue with their problems. Let's join as friends.
