my nvidia G210M 256MB and VRAM has been reduced after reinstalling OS

hi folks, accidentally my laptop does not boot and then i just reinstalling the windows 7 home premium OS, but then i'm facing a problem my nvidia does not work well and my VIDEO RAM is reduced to 224MB( before is 512MB)so when i running aps or games there is often lag and become slower. can you tell me what was happened? and how to solve it? thanks for your explanations. my laptop specs: windows 7 home premium intel core2duo T6600 2.21 GHz 3.0 GB RAM NVIVIDIA geforce G210M GPU 256MB

Did you mean that you reinstalling the same OS as before and now your VRAM reduces, right. Maybe the setting of your VRAM was reset. Try to setting up your VRAM in BIOS menu, it can be accessed by pressing F2 or F12 when starting up your computer, find video menu or something similar then set it up.

i just intall my original old nvidia driver and it works thanks for your comments guys. happy mylotting

wow, well, i think it has to do that your device in charge of the ram is not as great working as on your previous system, check for updates. If it's that much of a problem get a dual boot running on your computer with XP or whatever you had.
