Do you do your own manicure?

I always do my own manicure. You can see on the image I added, the outcome of my self-help manicure. :D I did this when I got bored one Thursday. I decided to paint just the tips instead of painting the entire nails with pink. I didn't think neon pink would look great on my hand since my complexion isn't that fair.
Ladies, do you do your own manicure? And what factors do you consider when it comes to the color that you want to wear? (:

When not busy, I do my own manicure and I prefer pastel colors most of the time. I avoid too bright and shocking colors most of the time, although once in a while I experiment on such kind of colors also. But when busy I go to the parlor for my nails and also if I want to have some nail and foot spa.

Yes i do my own manicure, whether bored are not i just love to do my own.I take my time to do it ,just to make sure i dont make a mess on my nails.
It depends and the color you like,because people now a days are going for high color.
Because i am dark skinned i love pink an red on my toes ,but for my fingers i just use a natural color for my hands.

I have a lady that comes to my house to do the mani and pedi.it's around USD 2.I usually have my nails done once a month.usually I choose red for my nail color.I do go for pink sometimes.

Yes I do, specially when I am bored and don't have job, now that I am working I hardly apply nail polish on my nails. I only had my nails in the salon 2 times if I remember. I'm not that type of a girl to go to the salon, but now I wanted too cause I am so busy.
