Earth Quakes! / myLot

I have never before experienced an earthquake and I don't want to either, but lately I have been hereing about earthquakes in the world happening all the time and more frequently too. I'm just curious but what does an earthquake feel like and how do you handle one? Has anyone here ever lived in a high risk area? Has anyone lost a relitive or close freinds to an earthquake? Has anyone escaped a near death experience?

I was just talking to a friend the other day about all the horrible things that are going on all around the world, my friend did say it has always happened it is just that communication get it all to us but I still think the weather has gone crazy....maybe its a warning to us to look after our world...

I definitely think humans have been taking their own planet for granted and it seems that humans don't do anything about it until its to late. I wonder what it will be like when we run out of gas for everyone. I can't imagine the animalistic things people will do then. People think its bad now but there are things that we just can't get on top of not including the natural disasters.
