Creditor filed a garnishment against my bank account

That is a horrible news for me for the weekend. The creditor finally took action against me and file a garnishment against the bank account. So, the accounts will be frozen for 30 days. Whatever is there will be taken by court to repay to the creditor. Sucks! Worst of my life, isn't it? I try to call the creditor, but they say they can't reverse it, because it is already in the court system. So, after 30 days, if that amount in the accounts wasn't satisfy the payment, I have to call them again and work out a payment plan. Any advise?

Creditors have a fair right to money that is owed to them. They will go to any means to obtain it. Some actions they take can be a bit extreme. There are different ways that creditors could handle going after their mooney than they do.
