I love apples especially when my migraines attacks.
When I go out to buy some I see peddlers along the street selling some.
One time I bought from them.
In my mind I want them to earn from me.
But most often I buy my apples from the supermarket.
How about you?
Where do you buy your fruits?

That's a good thought to help the hawkers or peddlers, actually they sell lesser than supermarkets with the same quality as that of the supermarkets or malls. As far as the quality is concerned consumers trust supermarkets because they lack product knowledge. I wish to buy straight from the farmers. But it is always not possible. Generally I buy fresh fruits wherever I see them irrespective of the place where it is available.

Yes, you are right. However, there are times where their apples are not that good too that is why it is a little bit cheaper than the supermarket price.
But still i but from them anyway especially if I am in a hurry and have no time to line up in the supermarket to pay.
We live in an area far away from an apple farm so it is really not possible to buy directly from farmers. Though this is a good idea.

Hi. irene66. I have always wondered what it would be like to buy apples from peddlers on the streets. I have seen many movies where people are buying fruits and vegetables too. I usually will buy my fruits from the grocery store. I don't really like the fact that the fruits are sitting out in the open air as they are being sold. I mean they are openly out in the grocery store too. But there is a door at the store too.

Hello there,
I agree with you that it is unthinkable buying fruits being out in the open.
But I think it is still safe to eat because you wash the fruits before you eat.
However, there are people who do not favor this one because of the thinking that it was bought from the outside.
Maybe it is all in the mind.
