I'm going for art and geography in post-secondary starting next year and I'm trying to plan out my future. So I'm trying to look into jobs that these degrees can assist me in other than teaching. Any ideas fellow mylotters???

An art degree would be helpful in an art gallery assistant, a museum assistant, a further education lecturer, a stage setter at a theater, after school club assistant or an artist. I have visited places where many resident artists paint or do art work. One of my friends did a degree in the history of art and then a certificate in teaching English as a foreign language. She taught English as a foreign language in Spain, Poland and Russia. Now she teaches in a secondary school and she really enjoy it. Sometimes a degree can be in any subject and allow the graduate to get into retail management or the civil service. Good luck with your degree.
