Before, when I was home all day, I used to study, read novels and comics, go to parks but these days I'm usually hung up in the internet. I watch dramas, movies, TV shows or am on facebook the whole day. I can't seem to get off my laptop, due to which i've grown lazier. Is there the same problem with anyone here or is it just me?? :S

Yeah I am pretty relaxed too when I'm on the internet but it is also true that time flies by so quick when on internet. Thanks for the response and have a wonderful day

Well I realized I also am going through the same thing. The difference is that I'm not home all day.. I only surf the net on evenings and weekends...I guess I'm really not so lazy.. Just tired from work.. :)

It's the trend now. There's no wrong spending time with your computer/laptop, but make a balance of everything, priority those you ought to do first. Make a "must-do-today" list. Me, at the end of the day, i write in my planner what to do next each day or what suppose to be done and accomplished on the the succeeding days.

While at home and everything is done i usually try to stay off facebook and stay on sites that make me money. I do this to make more money and while im on facebook i know i dont make money at all and my goal this year is to not play so many facebook games and to stay focused on being on sites that make me money. Also while at home i try and do other things like clean and put things away and pick up things and try to stay busy for the day to go buy faster. Right now im home waiting on my mom to get home to go out and do some errands and today is already going slow because im waiting and im unpatient about that. While waiting im on mylot doing as much responses as i can to stay busy and also to make money of course.

Yeah i know facebook game can be really addictive. I used to be hooked to the game caled mafia wars couple of months ago. Godd when i think about it now, i feel like i wasted my time doing nothing. I should try and cut some hours off facebook too.

There are days that I look up and see the time and say, oh my goodness where did time fly. I have also had to write notes on my lap top to remind me of time is of the essence when it comes to errands and or chores. So same with me at times. Best way that helps me is to tell myself that at such and time I have to get off and do what I have to do and truly stick to it.

So true. Time flies when on internet. I have to make a habit of sticking to what my priorities are. Thanks for the response. Have a good day.

Yes, the Internet is addictive. I think most people have this problem. But the good thing about it is that we can use this to our own advantage. There are so many useful things we can do online, like being here on MyLot and sharing our opinions.

Your not alone. I was just thinking about it the other day, how there are so many things that I enjoyed doing, but do not do anymore because I am on the computer all the time. I don't believe it is a issue of being lazy, it is more like be addictive. The times that I have made myself stay away from the internet, I have noticed I was sort of happier and got a lot done. It is like two different worlds !

Yes, two different worlds indeed. I was active and outgoing. Now I seem to be trapped in the internet world with locked doors :(

Oh well yes,.. nowadays internet has involved in our lives so much that we keep finding excuses for it. I am at home all day on weekends and me too spend a big portion of time sitting in front of my pc. for this I am even scolded by my mom, as she says I am becoming so lazy, but I cant change it. I am sometimes so addicted.

Me too. I get a lot of scoldings but I don't know how to change this habit. Getting lazier and fatter everyday :(
