According to the Department of Tourism, for the month of January 2011 alone, Boracay has already earned PHP 1,279,539,790.20 for the Philippines. That's how much Boracay visitor arrivals has earned for the first month of the year! Wow! That's a lot of money! And it's not even summer yet. It's nice how much Boracay has prospered and attracted such a huge crowd. And so far, it has maintained its glory. It's such a big pull for tourists in the country. I hope they utilize the money to maintain the beauty of Boracay. And speaking of which, Im excited for much awaited Boracay trip this coming Feb 25-28. I wonder how much it has earned for the month of February. Mabuhay Pilipinas!

I hope they use the money to preserve the islands, they need to make sure there will be no pollution in that place. They have to keep it clean. Plus the natives must feel the prosperity. How come the public schools in Boracay looks crappy. how come the hospitals looks bad. The residents of Boracay doesn't felt the progress and benefit from it.
